Extra numbers across supported countries, with less data kept.

Freedom Fone is our international iOS and Android companion service. Keep work, travel and personal calls separate, manage several numbers in one account, and choose when Fortress-held messages disappear. Number countries and features open individually after carrier and regulatory approval.

Person-to-person SMS is enabled for supported numbers. Calling and messaging depend on number capabilities, destination and service activation.

Several numbers, one app

Search for additional numbers in countries currently enabled in the app, fund a shared prepaid wallet, and release numbers you no longer need. Current 30-day launch prices are UK £8.99, US £6.99, Canada £6.99, Netherlands £7.99 and Israel £8.99; each live quote shows the applicable country, capabilities, currency and price before purchase. Calls use 15p per started answered minute and SMS uses 15p per segment, with no subscription required.

Deletion you control

Choose deletion after reading received messages or sending outgoing messages, after 24 hours, after one week, or manually. Fortress call metadata is scheduled for deletion after 24 hours.

Works on iOS and Android

Use the app on a standard phone or pair it with a Fortress hardened GrapheneOS handset. Ordinary SMS and telephone-network calls are not end-to-end encrypted.

Keep Number · annual reservation

Where offered, switch an eligible active number to a 12-month reservation after its current paid period. Current annual launch prices are UK £59.99, US £49.99, Canada £49.99, Netherlands £59.99 and Israel £79.99; the app shows the applicable price before activation. It renews annually from account credit and has a 30-day non-payment grace period before release. Calls and messages remain pay as you go.

Optional monthly credit

Choose £9.99/month for £10 credit or £29.99/month for £30 credit, or stay entirely PAYG with one-off £5, £15, £30 and £40 credit packs.

A stable number—not a promise from WhatsApp

Keep Number prevents routine expiry while the reservation is paid, but telephone numbers remain carrier-controlled. Banks, WhatsApp and other third parties decide whether to accept any VoIP number.

Get Freedom Fone

Available on the App Store. Public number inventory opens country by country after real-number, calling, messaging and emergency-blocking tests are complete and our carrier confirms the customer-number model.

Three steps from order to a finished device.

Devices are configured, tested, and stocked ahead of demand. There is no build cycle on the customer's end and no technical onboarding at delivery.

01

Place an order

Choose a tier; reach us by Telegram, phone, or email for a brief intake. Payment by Soclo Payments, cash (in person or by post), UK bank transfer, card, or cryptocurrency — all accepted equally. Pay securely with Soclo Payments.

02

Same-day dispatch

Same-day dispatch on orders placed before 3pm UK time. Tracked, signed-for, plain packaging. Collection in central London available by appointment.

03

Power on, set a PIN

The device is fully configured and tested before it leaves us. The customer sets a PIN on first boot. No further setup is required.

No customer setup. No technical onboarding.

Every setting that needs to be in place is in place when the box is opened. An optional 30-minute onboarding call is available; most customers do not need one.

The day-to-day difference.

A managed product, not a kit of parts. The features below are the practical outcome of work that has already been done before the device reaches you.

Confidential calls and messages

Voice and text traffic kept off the consumer carrier billing record, supporting business confidentiality and legal privilege workflows.

Locked-down location data

Per-app sensor and location controls are configured at the operating-system level. Apps that don't need your location simply don't get it.

Standard apps work normally

WhatsApp, Signal, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, banking, browsers, and mapping all run as expected. Edge cases are flagged before sale.

No customer setup

Devices are pre-configured and tested before dispatch. Power on, set a PIN, the device is ready for normal use.

UK-based human support

Direct support from the company, not a ticket queue. Replacement on the next dispatch if anything is wrong on arrival.

GrapheneOS Pixel UK catalogue — and more.

All-in pricing. No setup fee. Every phone includes 6 months Freedom Fone subscription with 1 number. Same-day dispatch on orders placed before 3pm UK time. See Terms, Privacy and Support.

Sold to businesses and professionals.

Corporate executives & finance

Boards, CFOs, M&A and IP-heavy programmes — engagements where a contact-list leak has direct commercial cost. Multi-handset deployments and central billing supported.

Solicitors & barristers

Privilege-sensitive matters, regulatory work, sensitive client representation. A managed line where call records sit outside the consumer carrier system supports professional confidentiality obligations.

Investigative journalists

Source-sensitive reporting and frequent travel. Long-term relationships where a single metadata leak can compromise months of work.

NGO & humanitarian workers

Field staff in jurisdictions where contact-list confidentiality is a duty of care to local partners and beneficiaries.

Executive support & assistants

Personal staff handling principal calendars, travel, and communications, where the assistant's phone is effectively an extension of the principal's.

Independent professionals

Consultants, advisors, and individual clients who want a finished hardened device without the consumer-carrier telemetry stack — and don't want to assemble the result themselves.

Not a fit

Anyone whose primary need is emergency calling or emergency-services location. Anyone seeking to defeat lawful UK or international investigation — see our Acceptable Use Policy. Anyone looking for "untraceable" — we don't sell what we can't deliver, and we explain why in the FAQ.

How we operate.

A privacy-focused product, sold by a UK-registered company that operates within UK law. Both halves of that sentence matter.

01

UK-registered limited company

Fortress Freedom Phone Ltd, Companies House No. 17168647, England & Wales. Director and registered office on the public register.

02

UK consumer law

14-day cancellation rights on distance sales, statutory consumer protections, and fair-dealing obligations apply to every order. Returns and refunds handled per UK law.

03

GDPR & data minimisation

We collect what's needed to deliver, bill, and support the service — and not more. UK GDPR data subject access requests honoured. Retention is the minimum the law and our duties require.

04

Lawful UK requests honoured

We comply with valid UK court orders, lawful production requests, and our obligations as a UK operator. We do not market the service for circumventing lawful investigation in any jurisdiction.

05

Customer screening

We screen enquiries and decline any that signal criminal intent, fraud, or harassment. Service may be terminated if Acceptable Use is breached. See our Acceptable Use Policy.

06

Not in the data-broker business

We do not sell, share, or aggregate customer data, call patterns, or contact graphs with third parties for marketing or any other commercial purpose. Subscription and device fees are our only revenue.

The questions everyone asks.

Is this legal?
Yes. Fortress Freedom Phone Ltd is a UK private limited company registered at Companies House (No. 17168647). The product is sold for legitimate confidentiality — business confidentiality, legal privilege, journalistic source protection, personal safety, and individual privacy. We operate within UK law and our obligations as a UK operator. We do not market the service for evading lawful investigation in any jurisdiction, and we decline enquiries that suggest that use case. See our Acceptable Use Policy.
How do I pay? Do you accept Soclo Payments?
We accept all common payment methods, treated equally: Soclo Payments, cash (in person or by post), UK bank transfer (personal or business), card, and cryptocurrency (Bitcoin or Monero). None is preferred and none is required. Pay securely with Soclo Payments — use the Pay securely buttons on each product, or soclo.app. Cards are processed through standard UK payment infrastructure. Crypto invoices are available on request.
What is GrapheneOS and why do your phones use it?
GrapheneOS is a hardened, open-source mobile operating system built for Pixel devices. Fortress installs GrapheneOS, configures privacy and sensor controls, and finishes each handset so it is ready to use on arrival. Our GrapheneOS Pixel UK range covers Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro, Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro — a privacy phone UK professionals can rely on without assembling the stack themselves.
What is included with every hardened phone?
Every phone includes GrapheneOS installed and configured by Fortress, testing before dispatch, plain tracked delivery, and 6 months of Freedom Fone subscription with 1 number. Handsets are in stock. Same-day dispatch on orders placed before 3pm UK time. Collection in central London is available by appointment.
What is the Freedom Fone bundle on phones?
Each hardened phone purchase includes 6 months Freedom Fone subscription with one telephone number. After the included period you can continue in the app on PAYG or subscription options. Freedom Fone is also available separately on the App Store for extra numbers on a phone you already own. See Freedom Fone and Support.
How quickly do you dispatch?
Devices are finished and ready in stock. Same-day dispatch on orders placed before 3pm UK time, with tracked, signed-for delivery in plain packaging. We confirm the order and payment method (including Soclo Payments) before the device leaves us.
Do you sell an encrypted laptop in the UK?
Yes. Our encrypted laptop UK option is a privacy laptop with Linux and full-disk encryption, configured by Fortress and finished ready to use. From £899 for a business ThinkPad-class 14-inch machine. Models vary; we confirm the exact unit before dispatch. Enquire via contact.
What's included in the £100/month line, and what does data cost?
The £100/month line covers the managed UK number, voice and text in and out, ongoing support, and 5 GB of mobile data each month. If you exceed 5 GB in a month, additional data is billed at £8 per GB; we'll always notify you before charging overage. Most customers — even regular travellers — do not hit the 5 GB cap.
Why not just an iPhone?
iPhones are good consumer-privacy devices, but they are a closed appliance built around Apple's services. Our handsets are hardened from the ground up: locked down, with the device-side telemetry pipeline removed, and with controls that can be independently audited. The hardened software underpinning the device is open-source — there is no requirement to take a vendor's word for what is running.
Will my normal apps work? WhatsApp, Signal, banking, Microsoft 365?
Yes. WhatsApp, Signal, Telegram, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, banking, browsers, and the vast majority of Android applications run normally — there is nothing for the customer to install or configure. A small number of banking and payment applications refuse to run on hardened devices; we identify any in your stack before sale and demonstrate working alternatives.
Can I call emergency services?
Not through the Freedom Fone app or managed line in any country. On a Hardened Handset, your separate normal SIM and consumer carrier work as they normally would. Keep a carrier line or another telephone available and use your local emergency number, such as 999, 112 or 911.
What if a device is lost or stolen?
Notify us, and we revoke the device's access to the managed line within minutes. Cold-seized, the device is locked, encrypted, and configured to wipe before unlock. A replacement is dispatched on the next business day; the customer's number continues on the new device.
What data do you hold about me?
The minimum required to deliver, bill, and support the service. We do not record call audio or aggregate customer data for sale. In Freedom Fone, SMS content is encrypted in Fortress storage and deleted after a received message is read or an outgoing send attempt completes, after 24 hours, after one week, or manually according to the user's setting; Fortress call metadata is scheduled for deletion after 24 hours. DIDWW, carriers and app stores retain separate records under their own legal and operational requirements. Full details are in our published privacy notice, and UK GDPR data-subject rights apply.
Do you cooperate with law enforcement?
We comply with valid UK court orders, production orders, and lawful operator obligations — that is what UK law requires of us, and we do not pretend otherwise. What we do not do is provide informal or expedited access to any party, sell customer data commercially, or volunteer information beyond what we are legally required to produce. The data we can be compelled to produce is limited by what we hold, and what we hold is limited by data minimisation.
Can I cancel? What happens if I stop paying?
UK distance-selling rules apply: 14 days to cancel from delivery for the device. The Full Freedom Phone subscription can be cancelled any month. Seven days of grace after a missed payment, then the managed line is suspended; payment resumes within minutes of receipt. The handset becomes yours outright after 24 months of service on the Full Freedom Phone tier; on a standalone GrapheneOS phone purchase it is yours from day one.
You don't claim "untraceable" anywhere on this site. Why?
Because the claim would not be honest. What we offer is a finished, hardened device and a managed line with structural privacy properties — fewer data collection points, minimised retention, and no consumer-carrier billing record. That is a meaningful product. A vendor that promises more than that is one we'd treat with suspicion ourselves.
Why trust a company this new?
Trust the foundations rather than the brand. The hardened software the device runs is open-source and independently audited. The company is a UK private limited, listed at Companies House, with director and registered office on the public record. UK consumer law and GDPR apply. The product properties on this page are structural, not promissory: if the company ceased trading tomorrow, the device on the customer's desk still functions.
